Oracle E-Business Suite Upgrades and Platform Migration


Customers increasingly face the prospect of upgrading older versions of the Oracle E-Business Suite product while considering hardware/operating systems upgrades and possible migrations across platforms - advances in technology as well as the formalization of lifecycle and support timelines for their hardware and software investments are prompting an increased interest for guidance and how to approach these multiple upgrade scenarios.

Note:1377213.1 outlines some guidelines to the mechanisms available in upgrading the Oracle E-Business Suite while considering platform migration. This document is meant as an overview to supplement existing detailed documentation that outlines specific processes to perform the migration.
