Oracle Priority Service Infogram - End Times Edition

This is the ‘End of the World’ issue of the Infogram. Some people think the end of the Mayan calendar signals the end of the world. I think the Mayans just didn't renew their calendar subscription in time; then their culture crashed and burned before they got their second notice. As Vonnegut said, ‘And so it goes.’

In any case the editors and staff of the Priority Service Infogram wish you a very happy end of the world! And if that falls through and we see next week after all, then a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! There will be no issue of the Infogram next week due to the holidays.

…And Finally

Continuing the theme of 3D printing that we’ve linked to before is this detailed article at TNW: Behind the rise of the 3D printing revolution.

Looking to a different part of the near future:
Good news: According to Fortune Tech, Technology will replace 80% of what doctors do.
Bad news? The robots and computers will still make you wait in a big room full of bored anxious people and old magazines for a diagnosis. It's tradition.

Time for your editor to wax a bit philosophical: All is slightly imperfect. It is imperfection that prevents the deadly stasis of perfection. Supersymmetry: is it really too good not to be true? at the Guardian.
